Biography:
Liana Basova was born 30.04.1976 in Kazan, Russia.
Education:
1993-1998 : Biological faculty of Pedagogical Institute. Yelabuga. Russia.
Degree work carried out on the basis of Institute of Protein Research RAS
(Pushchino, Moscow region).
1998-2000 : Master's degree in Biophysics. Pushchino State University, Moscow region.
2000-2003 : PhD program in Biophysics. Pushchino State University, Moscow region.
2004 : PhD in Biophysics.
Dissertation Advisors: Prof. V.E. Bychkova and prof. V.A. Pechatnikov.
Institute of Protein Research RAS and Institute of Cell Biophysics RAS.
Thesis: "Investigation of the cell membrane influence on the conformational
state of globular proteins".

Principle preparative and analytical methods of biochemistry: isolation and purification of proteins using FPLC (ion-exchange and gel-filtration chromatography); PAGE (denaturation and non-denaturation conditions), limited proteolysis, urea-gradient electrophoresis.
